      Facts are we are the dominant species and these creatures (and many others) are our food and clothing. We refer to them as "Live Stock". We need them to survive. For this, we owe them enough to treat them with respect while in our 'possession'. This video, unless I have missed something, demonstrates a total breach of this ethic.

      I simply felt sympathy for the animal and outrage toward the jerk electrocuting it. Had there been an actual purpose for this, my opinion may have been different.

      I don't agree with your nor Babber's opinions - this isn't just some guy off the street, it is some guy who (seemingly) electricuted an animal, because he could. Yep, I think that deserves the like returned upon him. But that's just my opinion.

      Granted some can be like Friesian bulls but others like Hereford and Aberdeen Angus are extremely placid. This stereotype of all bulls being dangerous and attacking people for no reason is bullshit (excuse the pun). Caution should be used by people who know little about them but to say they would prefer to hurt you if they could - you've obviously never been round many bulls. So dont comment!

    The bull didn't get up to kill you after it got TAZED... it got up to try to get the hell out of there... It was trying to escape NOT attack... that's exactly what a BEAR would do. Unless you have been tazed before... you have no idea what happens... you muscles build lactic acid at a extremely fast pace. Even when you get up, you are so dazed by the shock that you can't walk without falling over. These temporary side effects are gone after several minutes but it does give you enough time to get to safety in the case of animals... if the animal were to still try and attack you against all odds... it doesn't matter, the animal still has the (2) prongs stuck to him like fishing hooks... you can always give em another ZAP to make them reconsider attacking you... Done and Done.

    • It gives you an electric shock.

      I'm guessing you're not from North America because here almost every police officer is equiped with a tazer/ stun-gun. The tazer uses a temporary high -voltage (equivalent to that of a 9V battery) with an amperage of 2.5-3.5 mA. The low- current (around 80 - 100 mA can be lethal) is used to override the body's superficial muscle -triggering mechanisms. Immobilization of the recipient is via two metal probes (darts) connected via metal wires from the stun gun usually penetrating the human skin, and superficial muscle. The guy who is 'connected' to a stun gun feels great pain and can be momentarily paralyzed (only so long as there is an electrical current being applied) because his muscles are receiving electrical 'shock'.
