Scottish Festival Key Biscayne Florida

This is a few short clips from a 1992 home video I took of the
old Scottish Festival that used to be held at Key Biscayne.
I have never been to a more relaxing and unique festival. Very laid back
and very Scottish. Most festivals are 100 vendors trying to sell you
something on a stick. The old Scottish Festival was nearly 100 percent
Scottish dancing or bagpipe playing or pipe band competition or
sheep dog shows or caber toss and fiddle playing and Scottish food
and beer and whisky. I think half the people there were participants,
plus the circular path of the old Zoo grounds made a nice walk and gave
the Festival distinct and seperate parts with one soundscape belending into another as you walked along. Never heard one argument or harsh word
at any one of the Scottish festivals I went to. If you like bagpipes and
scottish folk dancing you might want to buy the hour long video I have for sale
on my ebay store or webpage. . The Scottish Festival is still held in
South Florida in the winter every year. Try it, you will like it.
