    ......Lebron or Kobe are no where near the defensive player Jordan was, that's why he is the greatest...he dominated at both ends of the court. He was defensive player of the year, league mvp and scoring champ in 1988. And don't forget, he averaged over 30 points a game over his ENTIRE career!!!!!

    the fact that many of u say that kobe or lebron will be "the next jordan" testifies that Mj is the best.. he is the yardstick with which u measure greatness and those two can never be better than him.. Lebron has just started his career..so he has a chance of catching up with jordan, but i feel kobe has gone past that stage.. he can't carry his team single-handedly like MJ could..

    seriously, Le Bron and Kobe are good but MJ paved the way. Let's just say that Jordan is just in a whole nothu level (EXCELLENCE). You can try to argue for Kobe, Le Bron etc... but sorry no player day in and day out dominated an entire team the way Jordan did. Even in a extremely rare off night he gets ~20 points and makes it look exciting. can't say that about any other player. Kobe shows flashes of brilliance but he's inconsistent and too cocky. Some just can't be imitated... IMHO, Hands down Jordan is the Best basketball player in History. This video shows why...

    Michael Jordan is ma man, got a bunch of his posters, a clock, cologen even, cards, etc. He pwnz! I was so lucky, I went to the Basketball Hall Of Fame in Mass. and asked about a Michael Jordan Jersey, they had none out front, a guy went to the back and I got THE last one, not second to last, THE last one, it was a size XXL and was big enough for me to go skydiving then but I love it lol
