a town-hall meeting for the Southern California Moroccan American community was organized and held at the downtown Marriott hotel.
There were inquiries relating to import/export issues and the need for more transparent and readily available information to potential importers and exporters, others bemoaned the lack of transportation options between Morocco and the US, the sole Royal Air Maroc flight between NY and Casablanca is a drop in the water and is of no help to both Moroccan Americans or potential visitors. There were requests for help to entice American airline companies to open up new routes to Morocco. Mr. Adil Naji of Arabesque, Inc., spoke extensively on the benefit of MAC (the Moroccan American Coalition) that is currently being organized and its potential for streamlining communication among various Moroccan American Communities around the country. view full video at http://www.moroccoboard.com
