The Japanese aren't stupid, and the guy on the tape was trying to learn one of the worlds worst languages. I'm taking Japanese in college, so I'm by no means an expert, but the Japanese actually count in groupings of numbers. If it had been taught to him, the guy could have said ten-tens, and in japanese that would have worked for one hundred. This show is a perfect example of what happens to a culture after you nuke it, so lets not bust em out again ya.
