Cold enough to stop Terminator, but not enough to freeze your hands or mouth (watch video)! This is liquid nitrogen. But liquid nitrogen is extremely dangerous! Definitely, DEFINITELY don't try this at home!

  • Liquid nitrogen is extremely dangerous!

    A few seconds with your hand in liquid nitrogen would indeed destroy it. The reason the guy can hold a drop in his hand is because of what is called the Leidenfrost Effect - vaporizing liquid creates an insulating layer of gas between the liquid and his hand, offering a degree of protection. Definitely, don't try this at home.

    Sure it can freeze your hand, if you put your hand in LIQUID nitrogen. He merely grabbed the gas form for a few seconds a few seconds in liquid nitrogen and say goodbye to your hand. but still 4* =]
