The Daily Show put Reverend Wright's comments in context. In the context of controversial things current and former pastors have said over the years. The Double Standard is quickly apparent: GOP PASTORS / WHITE PASTORS can say what they want without fear of censure, without fear of being repudiated, renounced, or "thrown under a bus", or worse, played in sound bites on Main Stream Media and the internet 24/7, effectively demonizing any human being beyond recognition as having human qualities and thus worth redeeming... "Billy Graham remains a beloved figure, even after disparaging Jewish Americans. Reverend Wright said things which aren't much worse than that. Double Standard? Only White Pastors get to say stupid things and get away with it???
