Ever wonder how to recover lost passwords? Wonder how strong your passsword is? Or how someone could steal it? Or are you tired of people who say you can do it with a TI-84?

This video will show you how YOU can crack a Windows password with almost no effort at all! The end also contains some simple tips on how to protect yourself from someone doing this to you.

There are more methods than shown here including using LiveCD versions of Linux (like Auditor Security Collection), bootable USB drives, network sniffing, or gaining access to your harddrive directly and stealing the password hashes.

Programs used: LoginRecovery Boot Floppy and L0phtCrack5 (LC5)

  • after some reading

    im no hacker/cracker and alot of what i have read about the subject has been a different language to me but still its not the best advise.. plus there are a few little bits left out of the video that are critical to this working ie what type of file to import.. im assuming a pwdump, or how about telling people you have to delete certain parts of the hashes ie at the start and the end ( the java program does it, handy he has that program but you don't ) also im pretty sure its alot easier when you already know the password and can make sure your dictionary and brute force hit it fast by choosing the right settings, try this out and lc5 will literally sit there for days if not weeks and probably not give you a result.. maybe im doing something wrong but really if it was that simple why wouldn't everyone be doing it, this video is a blip of whats needed to crack admin passwords in the real world.. hey i have an idea why not upload it to loginrecovery, that actually works ; )

    just reboot your computer in safe mode u may change the password , you did an fine work but i think that u can do more than crack windows password ;) anyway GOOD WORK
