Reports state that Michael Jackson dropped a large-scale lawsuit he had filed in 0-6 against his former accountants. Jackson had accused the accounting firm of not paying his taxes and other amounts owed in a timely fashion. In the lawsuit again Bernstein, Fox, Whitman, Goldman and Sloan, the King of Pop asked for hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages – although it is unknown if the case was dropped or if the two parties made a settlement. Also being dismissed was the countersuit filed by the firm just one day after Jackson’s initial lawsuit, saying that M-J owed a 1-million-dollar-payment to the firm.
