      if it wasn't for james brown, there would be no michael jackson. download the jackson five clip of them auditioning for motown. they did a cover of james brown's "i got the feeling", and michael dances EXACTLY like james in it. michael imitated james, james never imitated no one. james invented a dance style, "the james brown", michael just imitated dance styles he saw on the streets (the moonwalk) and broadcasted them on a stage where the whole world could see. james invented a music genre, funk, while michael had producers (quincy jones produced "off the wall" and "thriller", his best albums) making his music. michael has sold more records than james, but james came out during the segregated 50's & 60's, michaels solo albums came out in the 80's. and james brown in the most sampled music artist in history. if it wasn't for james, there would be no hip-hop.

      true, Michael does have vitiligo. but it never covered his entire body, just parts. it was getting worse, so instead of letting the disease slowly white out parts of his skin that the public could see, he just bleached himself so he wouldn't have white blotches all over. a white man could never dance like that. who ever said he was white needs to be slapped.

    Michael only bleached his skin, after it was almost completely white..but he didnt do it for respect or anything else..he has a skin disease that causes skin pigment loss..thats why u always see him in long sleeves, gloves, under an umbrella or a viel..he cant be in direct sunlight..if he had bleached his skin suddenly for no reason, he would've gone from black to white over night, but he didnt..his skin got lighter over the years, in the end he just decided to bleach it...but i dont care white or black he's my favorite secular artist..i love his music, and dances.. (his disease is called vitiligo..look it up)

    And as for skin bleaching...does anyone remember the while spots he had on his neck and arm in the 80's? It's a sign of vitiligo, which strangely enough Michael Jackson was diagnosed with. A skin disorder which effects skin pigments and results in white blotches and can actually change skin color. It's rare, but possible.

      Yes, he bleached his skin. Maybe it was because of the blotches, or maybe he just wanted to look prettier like his sister, lol. "Innocent??" The first time he got caught he got lucky and was able to pay a huge settlement and settle outside of court. Did he learn from that experience? Nope, he went right back to inviting children to sleep with him. So he gets arrested again and this time has to face a jury with the possibility of going to prison for a long time. He lucks out again and avoids a legnthy prison sentence. And while in Tokyo he requests a visit with a bunch of CHILDREN in an Orphanage! The man is addicted to children. Pedophiles can't help it, they just can't control themselves regardless of the risks. Just for the record, there is a difference between pedophiles and child molesters... Michael Jackson is not a child molester, he's a pedophile.
