This is EFR function on/off
in the Nokia's old model's manuel , you will found this short code *3370# means E(3)F(3)R(7)(0),some of the country EFR is not provide on the mobile network, turn it off will let you phone's reception stronger but use fast battery, however, turn it on if the network support will use least battery !!!! not a secret at all !!

On the old Nokia phones like this, use the code
*3001#12345#
that puts you into the programmers configuration menu.
You can use it to find out the security code, which overrides the lock code. And you can use it while the phone is locked. I used to use that to unlock my friends phones, and change the password on them, so that I locked them out of their own phones. It also allows you access to the field test mode which gives you the ciphers, frequency sets, carrier bands and all other network info about your connection. But like that code used here, it's only on the older, obsolete nokia brand phones.

Do not EVER do this!
The cellphones today use Lithium-batteri ( ion or polymer ), which does not handle being discharged. That's why the cellphone cuts of way before the battery is really empty.
If you completely discharge a lithium-battery, it is useless and in worst case explodes upon recharging.

  it changes the amount of resources your phone uses for signal... when you insert this code you signal will be weaker, but it will not use so much enargy( in addito your battery will last longer) and the restart takes place for the changes to take place. just like your PC:D:D:D
