As many of you know, Fireese was a signing baby and is almost 2 and a half and reading. I posted this new video of her because I want people to see that signing has not inhibited her speech at all. I believe that signing has actually given her a good foundation and interest in letters and words. We do not force her to learn anything, she is simply interested in words and we show her what she wants to know.

that is awesome. That is just proof of how a real parent should be teaching their children and not waiting until they get into school for them to learn

My apologies for not having responded earlier to your posts! Thanks so much for your comments and yes I agree that she is a smart little girl and her parents have been amazing with teaching her. Some of her videos of baby signing are great to watch!
