What's funny is that was the real deal, but no one would believe it and I don't blame them. I saw the same thing in the midwest US and 3 others saw it with me. Another funny thing is that by the way it looks and moves you'd think it was a light source inside the car reflecting off the window. So funny that so many would make the same comments about it that I made to myself in my head before realizing that it was real.
Once I witnessed ball lightning manifest itself in the midst of weird spring snowstorm in Chicago, IL. Except in my case it descended out of a low cloud base drifted down over my car and burst against the side of a building a block away. Scared the crap out of me because I didn't know what it was at the time.
i looked at it carefully over and over and at the point before the lightning hit it was gone the little flying ball was gone for a split second huh kinda hard to tell ,..but if it were tru why did the person filming not zoom in ,.. i would have done it ,.. but for all we know it could have been some bird flying in the distence that got shot down by lightning ,..who knows ,..thats a noodle scratcher?!?!?
its a flash from a camera

you guys knew those half press camera that have a light then when u press fully it flashes? i think the other passenger is taking a picture on the other size.theyare inside a bus!
Could be a person taking a photo behind with the flash and pre flash red eye light on on their camera. The lights are reflecting off the glass window. Just a thought
What you witnessed was the explosion caused by a surge in high tension powerlines. You can just make out the tower in the distance. These surges occur anywhere along the wire where air becomes less insulative combined with a massive power surge (can be caused by a number of things-poor regulation at the power plant is most common).
What you see is a Ball Lightning . I´ve already seen it in Germany . First you see a lightning ball with enormously energy . And when the ball collapses, a strong Plasma-Lightning appears. It´s really crazy. I´m not sure about that, it propably could have been a small green man .
What you see is an aeroplane. These objects are known to fly at night with big bright lights attatched to them. The flash is from the camera of the idiot taking pictures of an aeroplane which he thinks might be a spaceship.
this is one of the realer ones. The chances of that white ball being fake, a reflection in the window, or a bird are pretty slim with the chance of it disappearing when lightning hit. its gotta be something non-explainable. UFO classic.
BALL LIGHTNING

wow i suprised there isnt one perosn on this website that education enough to know what that is ..............all i have to say is look at this then maybe u'll stop calling it an alien....u can tell its not a legit alien sighting what alien creates a lightning bolt when they take off
http://amasci.com/tesla/ballgtn.html
i've gotta go with is fake because i watched it time after time and i saw that the light dissapeared before the lightning hit it. i dont know what the hell it was, but i think it was some how a fake.
Think about a guy who uses a photo camera with its flash light behind the video man. And that guy just takes a photo using the photocamera's flash light. Therefore, the window glass reflects it.
BALL LIGHTNING does not look like "lightning." Instead, it usually appears as a mysterious glowing sphere which drifts horizontally through the air. It is typically the size of a grapefruit, but sometimes appears as small as a pea, or as large as a bus. It sometime hovers at a few feet or tens of feet altitude, but can also bounce along the ground. It usually lasts only a few seconds, but sometimes persists much longer. Various colors of "BL" have been seen, sometimes it changes colors, and sometimes it has internal structures such as glowing layers or moving sparks. Sometimes it disappears silently, other times it explodes with extreme violence.
At one time BL was thought to be extremely rare, but this was because most BL eyewitnesses feared ridicule and wouldn't come forward. In reality, five percent of the population has seen BL close up. Today most researchers agree that it is real, yet its nature is still highly controversial, and no sensible theories yet exist to explain it. (For example, BL cannot be hot plasma, since plasma would be much lighter than air and would immediately rise like fire, or like a balloon.)
As another post stated this is almost certainly a camera flash. Some cameras dimly light the flash moments before the bright flash during the exposure. You can tell this is a reflection from inside. It follows some of the same movements the video camera did. The sense of depth is given by the fact that the person holding the (assumed) still camera is behind the video camera.
It MUST be some form of alien communication!
I can read it!!!! "Beware of the rice....."
you read it wrong, it say's
"That wasn't chicken you just ate."
it is a helium balloon made off alminium they float them up to test the power of lightning it dissapears cose it burst after the hit andy

A better question is who the hell brings the video camera on a road trip and takes footage of the sky?
I say we cach the aliens and then we can bbq them on our grill and have a big party with bbqed alien and beer.
Chicken?
those pesky tibetan monks again--better send over some more troops to 'restore the peace'.
Looks like a probe of some sort and then it looks like a beam teleported it out of there.
That was a Goa'uld attack vessel being zapped by the Asgard
from back to the future and they went back to the future
ITS CALLED BALL LIGHTNING!!!! IT HAPPENS IN FIELDS WITH LOTS Of CROPS!!!!
100%age
90%sure

this video is 91 second long, and all i get to see is a 4 second video of a balloon pop. What a dissappointment

Boring...
Why does EVERYTHING than our tiny brain can't get has to be god-ghost-UFO? WHY?
it's just a light followed by a flash from a mobile phone in the vehicle.
omg..are you stupid? can't you people see that it is a blitz from another man taking pictures right behinde?
what are we supposed to be looking at?

well, I guess this could be easly explained as sawmp gas being reflected off near by radio tower.
the truth is out there

at 83 secs it disapears, at 84 it explodes, that aint no alien mate!
How dumb can one be?All i saw was clouds and a ball lightning or a weather balloon. Not sure which but it was FAKE
How stupid can a person be?of course its a fake.
Ball Lightning, look it up on wikipedia.org
it's obviously superman.
No body knows exactly what the hell was that!!!! but i was amazed!!!
This guy is taking the record through the car window and somebody is lighting a cigarette in the background. It is not even a fake...
behind the dude with the camera who is lighting a cigarette, and the lighter is reflecting in the window.
seems pretty obvious to me...
I sure hope thats sarcastic, if not ur very dumb.
funny
I was in that car, while my wife was filming, I wanted to take some pics from the mountains.
I dont think so, but i've never seen ball lightning.

Not an UFO...nono!
it's a UFO "Unidentified Flying Object". Doesn't mean it's ET...in fact it's probably not, but I'd say it's unidentified, flying, and an object.
he identified it as a reflection, hence him saying it's not a UFO was correct. he might be wrong factually, but what he said was correct.
This one has been officially proved to be a reflection of a flash of photoflash lamp.
the shapes must off been some hipnotic thingy to make us be 1 of them!!! ahhh
