You can transfer Laser Printed pages of text or graphics to almost anything with Lacquer Thinner. It works on wood, plastic, fabric, even make your own t-shirts! Very easy cheap process. Only perform in well ventilated area. Print on anything!

Printing on the heavy setting is better than printing on toner saver.
I transfer to wood for carving and engraving.

The thinner is clear and will eventually evaporate completely. You should put something like cardboard inside the shirt to avoid bleeding through to the back.

I just washed the shirt and it looks exactly the same. It did not fade in the washer, and the heat from the dryer did not fade or change it either.

if you go into your print options there should be an option called "mirror" or something similar in regular or advanced layouts.

It didn't work for me. I guess some trick is amiss in the video. I guess it sounds simple but as they say the devil is in the details.
Although my spontaneous reaction about this video was 'Wow' and I rated this 5. But I am disappointed that the video has incomplete information.
But if you can do this....you can silkscreen.

Great Video, but what are the common names Lacquer Thinner is sold by?
My local DIY store had something similar, and the guy was convinced that "Cellulose Thinner" was the same thing. Any good?

paint thinner might be the same thing. hardware stores usually have a can marked lacquer thinner though.

I guess it must be a UK thing not to call it by the name of "lacquer thinner". I'll buy a small bottle of it (the cellulose thinner that is) and let you know if it works.

I've just gone out and bought Hombases' own brand of "Varnish and Paint Remover" and it seems to work, i.e. transfer the toner to the wood/metal. But the quality is a bit grainy. BTW, it melted the acrylic sheet I tried it on :-(
