GULF OF OMAN (April 8, 2008) Sailors and Marines wait their turn to jump off the portside aircraft elevator during a swim call aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Tarawa (LHA 1). More than 500 personnel participated in the swim call. Tarawa and embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit are currently conducting operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
