Yes it is fake, but the position of his shadow tells you nothing. Depending on where the sun is, this could be real. Go outside, get some fresh air and jump up into the air. If the sun is low in the sky, you'll notice your shadow is not directly underneath you. You can also do it with a torch and your hand.
