  • I've flown this plane

    I flew MD-80's and DC-9's for a few years. This video is from the cockpit of an MD-88. The video above appears only as a blank screen to me, but i've seen the video before. It's a night landing from a flight between KATL and KMSY (Atlanta and New Orleans respectively).
    As for all the buttons as someone mentioned in a previous comment, pretty much everything you see up on the glareshield is autopilot and radios, which is why you see them tweaking those switches quite a bit.
    I'm sure the video was taken from the jumpseat.
    Nice flying plane!! Some of my best flying was done in the dc-9's and md-80's.
