How To Fall Off A Cruise Ship - The short answer is you can't! It's absolutely impossible to fall off a cruise ship BY ACCIDENT. From time to time you hear stories of a person becoming drunk during inclement weather and falling off a cruise ship. More than likely, if this is a true story, they were doing something they shouldn’t have been doing or trying to commit suicide. To 100% prevent a person from jumping, they'd have to completely cover the outside of the ship with chicken wire or some other safety netting. The decks of cruise ships even during bad weather are very safe for the average person following ship rules.
