This little joint is the definition of timeless as it has been open since 1937 and harkens back to the Super Clubs of days past where guests can sit around a stage and enjoy a show while also enjoying a delicious burger.
The scene at the Mint is all about exclusivity as the club is decorated in dark wood furnishings, velvet curtains, gold chandeliers and “money green” dÈcor, as well as black clothed tables and ritzy leather booths.
If you find your way back behind a two-way mirror, you’ll find that The Mint also offers an exclusive VIP lounge decorated with homages of Jazz and Blues greats, almost giving you the feel that you are in a 1930’s speak easy. Very cool!
Even if you don’t find your way through the looking glass, The Mint has a lot to offer, as on any given night, you will be serenaded by contemporary jazz and blues tunes. And on other nights, for an entirely different sort of crowd, you can find your indie favorites up on stage.
