hey
This is just a part of the tutorial. You have to adjust the mask so it won't color other areas than the iris. Also, in the bottom section it has to be smoother, and no blue areas to remain.

The pupil is supposed to be black
There is a cast all over the iris also blue from the underlaying layer....

You need to use layermasks

stupid
you changed the eye to one solid color, and you could still see the blue around the edges. should have done two "select color ranges" on the eye color, then image> adjustments> Hue/Saturation, and then moved the hue around. the resulting changes would look totally real under any amound of scruntiny.
