    Phoenix is not the daughter of Scott Summers and Jean Grey, The phoenix is a cosmic entity that took over Jeans body in the comics. Altough Rachel Summers adopted the name phoenix I doubt they're the same entity. And not to forget you didn't see Cyclops die so he could just be severly injured but alive. And do you remember the man with mind Dr. Moira Mctaggert had under her protection? And what Xavier said about transefering one's mind to that body? What makes you think he didn't do that seconds before dieing? That's all possibilities I can imagine right now.

    as an xmen fan this movie sucked ass
    if you never knew xmen or if xmen would have been a completely new concept with no precedence, then it was an entertaining movie.

    things i hated. no gambit. juggernaught - they not only made him a mutant this time but he had no relation with xavier. they didnt even seem to know each other.
    many other things i hated..but purely as a movie it was entertaining

      the army of the brother hood was approximately 30 people, all with the ability to jump? ice man appears for 5 sec. along with angel. pheonix never appeared but a reincarnation of the chick from the ring movies.

    Don't listen to that moron, the plot was a little back and forth but my 12 brother had no broblem following it. I would not take anyone under 15 to see it way more graffic than the other two.

  • This movie was amazing

    Hands down the best special effects I have ever seen, and there was plenty of it. The story line was great. Personally I have no idea how this movie got a bad rating, everyone I know who has seen it including myself liked it a lot. The plot in the other two movies was better but the fight scenes and the special effects in this movie blew the other two away.

    • The only things I hate 'bout this movie ...

      they killed off 2 of the main characters in the movie. What the Hell are they doing? Cyclops and Xazivier? why would they have Jean kill off her main love intrest. Is'nt the Pheonix the kid of Cyclops and Jean Grey? And how is Logan able to kill Pheonix who is suppose to be one of the most powerful mutants out there? That is what i hate 'bout the movie.
