what he does is levitates himself a few INCHES with his FOOT by hiding it behind the other foot the first time and the reactions are filmed. Then a crew member stand to the right of the camera in the same cloths as the people in the street and he is levitated by a WIRE which rases him FEET above ground not inches and the reactions from the method used with his foot are used afrterwards to make it seem he rose FEET in the air in front of the people when he never really did. :P i watched magic releavled lol

here's the proof. look at the people standing around in the background while he is elevating into the air... And when they cut back to David on his landing... mysteriously they have all vanished... thats the real trick.

There is a magnet underground, and his shoes bottooms are also made by magnet. He is hold a power controler in his hand (or somewhere). Increase power when he wants to go up, decrease power when he goes down.

dude you think he is David is better coz you dont know how he dose it but im pretty sure you said you HEARD Criss uses magnets so that means you dont knwo eaither what both of them do...and i dont think they are gonna put magnets in the ground and put some on his shoes dude just think.... -.-

They do one trick infront of a real crowd, probably one not as impressive as this one.
They then film their reactions.

Then, you film the same trick only much more intricate, with a double standing slightly infront of the camera wearing the same clothing.
It creates the illusion that this is all happening at the same time, but really, it isn't.

Any established cameraman knows that for the most effective shot to be taken, you should never shoot something like that, it's a trick. They're all tricks, but they're still very impressive to look at. :)

I juz watched a program on STAR WORLD namely SECRETS OF STREET MAGICIANS FINALLY REVEALED.. Evry one uses some scientific method to perform these tricks and this one particularly is prepared in two parts. one before the audience and the remaining after thet leave. Its all fake and even a single trick is not magic.

PS. anyone who is going around telling people secrects of magic who just want to know, STOP. There is nothing wrong with telling someone who has an entire act put together an extra trick to add as a zinger (therfore a magicion)

Watch the video carefully, there are 3 people walking towards David as he does the fake big lift. The camera then shows the girls laughing then cuts back to David's back and the 3 people have vanished. Two films and two tricks spliced together.

I have seen him meeting totally strange ppl, that he dont know in real life at all.
He tells the person to think of a person that means everything to them.
He then consentrate and ask the person to lift up his t-shirt...what can u see on his belly...the name of the person he is thinking of !! How can that be tricks or illusion ??
The person with the name on his belly, didnt even feel a thing and had no idea the name was there.

Its very emotional really, cause the person was thinking of a family member that had died, so he startet crying.

I believe that there should be an age requirement for responses. MAYBE then there will be at least half way decent spelling and grammer in statements. It is one of the saddest things that I see in day to day life when someone doesn't repect themselves enough to proofread something that others (in this case worldwide) will read. You make an ass of yourself. It's not hard.

this is fo real. he can do this kind of stuff cuz he really knows magic. if this were not true and ya'll dont believe in magic then why are u all discussing if its a trick or not? because you know its fo real and u cant explain it.

i know that in this video, it seems like he's so high up in the air, and you can't believe that he's standing on his toes.. but i gotta tell ya this. he showed afew levitations to different audience, but do you realise that sometimes his levitation is like so low and sometimes it gone up really high? this is the camera trick.. at first, the camera man will catch the audience's expression at which david blaine showed them to levitate on his toe... and after the audience has left.. one of their people will wear the clothes which is exactly as the audience wore... and they'll use a string which is not possible to see with your normal eyes, to make the magician levitate to such an impossible high which you can't do it on your toe.. and they connect the two films.. oh , you see this film again.. you can't see the face of the audience when he levitates.. well.. you can only see the clothing.. haha.. but the trick is cool though

This illusion was carried out on a slight uphill slope. He is uphill of you, stands on his toes, which creates the effect he is levitating himself. GET REAL PEOPLE.

I would love to see him live. I heard that he admitted that he does stand on his toes and uses mirrors to create the illusion of levitating. I've seen this on TV a hundred times, and I think he even admitted sometime last year that this levitation part is doctored too. But I still would love to see him

I've seen this guy, I think he's called the street magician. What's impressive is he's doing far cooler stuff than Copperfield or any of those big production magicians and he does it without a stage and a bunch of helpers. He does it right in front of people on the street. I'd love to see him in person. Very cool.
