- WHATEVER YOU DO...
  Sray the WD-40 onto a cloth and not directly onto the wheel. If you spray it right onto the wheel, enough could get through to the brakes to cause problems stopping. It's 100% harmless if sprayed onto a cloth.

  you could never spray enough WD-40 onto the brakes to cause an issue stopping. WD-40 is not that powerful of a lubricant. There is simply too much pressure put on the brake pads for something like WD-40 to cause any problems.

Can it....
....... be used as a sort of wax (extremely thin film) on the vehicle body to displace water and dirt the way ordinary wax does, or will the intense heat of the sun somehow react with it? Maybe I'll try it on my lawnmower body first. Like the vid, BTW.
