Poppa is the patriarch of the family and Deme is the youngest. His Birthday is May 30th. Deme's is December 27th. Poppa figured that Deme may get shortchanged with her B'day being so close to Christmas, so he wanted to offer Deme an unbirthday 12 and a half year birthday party. Deme who always says she wants to be a dolphin biologist has never been out on the ocean with dolphins so this outing is his/her birthday party from Poppa.
