Your comments are really appreciated. This fish took a week or so to make. The time depends upon how elaborate the piece is. The mother dragon in my "Paper mache baby" video took several weeks, mostly because of the complicated wings. Thanks again.

Thanks for the comment. All I can do is make the videos. You can never be sure anyone will ever see them. I'm really not disappointed with these numbers. But after the first week, people just can't find them. My pig video (I still really like that one) isn't going to make the 20k mark I don't think. Listen, if my next video doesn't surprise people, nothing will.

It does take practice. But you could do this too. You just have to make something, anything to begin with. Then one think leads to another, and then they'll be calling you monster-man. That's what happened to me. Give it a try? You have nothing to lose.

I can do any animal you can think of. But my heart is really with dragons, even though, as you can see, I do other things as well. I hadn't done a fish in a while. And please watch the pig video. People don't get that that was a bigger challenge than the dragon. I challenged myself to do the traditional paper mache pig, only my way. Watch it and tell me what you think. I really like it before I paint too. That's when it either "works" or doesn't as sculpture. If it doesn't look good white, paint won't help. I appreciate the comment!

Eddy is always swatting whatever I'm using, tape, finns, anything. Sometimes he gets paste on himself. That bothers him. I dedicated my dragon howto book to him though, cause he helps me so much!

I'll bet if I met you I'd find that you did something that I thought was really creative. I think it's about finding your medium, whatever it is. I'm just really lucky to have found my art form, you know? I'm just really lucky to have stumbled upon this (my own version of paper mache that is). (although my little children's book is the best work I've done. Watercolor and pen and ink. But it doesn't grab people like 3D. Still, check it out at monster-man.com. William's Treasure.
