SYNOPSIS :
Acapulco, the so called Pearl of the Pacific, used to be the refuge for Hollywood stars. Today is nothing but the shadow of itself challenged by the young and beautiful city of Cancun. Nevertheless, during the Holy Week, Acapulco comes alive again.
Springbreakers and sacrificial processions meet with the cartels war as a background. A photo reporter accompanies us in the twists and turns of the city while an archive treatment reminds the dreamlike cinematography of Acapulco.
Characters, territories and films become part of a poetical and political vision of the city.
