Dude let me break down the timeline of events for you:
9/11 happened
A war fever and desire for revenge arose in the United States
Bush told us we would get back at the "Evil Do-ers"
We went to war with the nation of Iraq

And if it was about WMD's. Why are we still there 7 years later after we learned that there were no WMD's?

must learn to listen or at least retain information for some period of time. We punished Afghanistan for being the harboring nation of Osama bin Ladin. two years later it was Iraq and WMDs. as i said before we went in for WMDs and stayed to free 22 million Iraqis. Iraq people now control their own destiny for the first time in decades.

gives the USA the right to police any country anywhere. After the search for WMDs revealed no major remaining stockpile, the country was lawless with no leadership, dictator or other wise. The last years have been spent securing the country and allowing free elections to a free people. Very soon the Iraqi police and military will be fully capable to handle the insurgency on their own. We have no reason to stay beyond that date but the Iraqi people may want us to stay for their security for a while. We do not occupy Iraq, if and when the government says LEAVE we will leave.

The united states is currently in the process of building four perminate military bases. There was never an exit strategy because there was never any intention to leave.
You need to stop accepting everything your government tells you and question things man.
They say they want to leave after they 'set up the iraqi government', yet they are spending more than the peak of vietman and sending over more forces. there are intentions to spread into iran... yeah, absolutely ready to leave....

you seem to have a better head than the usual anti-everything person. What i cant understand why im so naive and you guys are so smart. What are your sources of information. Bases may be built we are still in S Korea and Germany and Japan and the UK..these countries as well as Iraq if said we were not welcome there, we would leave. I dont think many countries would consider kickus the US out as they enjoy the umbrella of protection we provide.

I hope that someday all the 911 truthers and NWO believers and North American Union zealots can sit back and relax and not think the burden of saving the world is on their shoulders.
