    I posted on the "iLife" advert as well and what i said there applies here, anyway you dont need to write viruses for macs if you try to run a programe they just crash anyway.

      I bet you only bitch about macs because you can't play a lot of games on them. If you want games, then fine, go get yourself a pc, but if you want a good solid computer that runs fine for stuff like editing videos and songs, etc. then definately go with a mac...

    Stupid commercial for stupid people. Why? Because only a stupid couldn't realise that viruses are created for popular OSs like Windows XP.

    For you MAC users: never forget that your beloved OS was hacked from the internet in only 30 minutes. Yes... the attacker gained full control of the OS, root access if you know what I mean... but I guess you don't because a MAC user doesn't have to know that. MAC: stupid computers for stupid people, just like the guy in the commercial xD Please press the only button located in the middle of your mouse to continue.

  • The reason there's not viruses..

    for macs is because nobody writes them. Virus writers want to crash as many systems as possible, and what does the majority of the world use? PC's. Not to mention people are out to get Microsoft they don't care about crashing macs.

    I cost twice as much as Mr PC because of all my shiny, designed plastic! But the elitists who buy me don't care, as long as it's shiny. I don't get viruses because noone bothers writing them for my OS. Oh, and I also run Windows now!

    Too bad these commercials don't make reference to Microsoft, except maybe the fact the 'PC' guy looks like Bill Gates. It's not the PC that gets infected, its the OS running, which most likely is Windows. A PC running Linux is far more stable and less likely to be hacked, infected, whatever. I have 2 PC's running Linux and Windows on my laptop, they're all actually stable, but moreso with Linux. No spyware either...

    Now honestly, How many of you people who are bashing the mac has actually spent a whole lot of time with them? I used a windows machine for about 7 years because I had now idea anything else was out there. I have been using macs for about 3 years and I love them. So I would say I've had a fair amount of time on both systems. Now I'll admit, until the last few years, the mac os has been awful. But I'd say since 10.2, the mac OS is the best. Gaming/fun business stuff...get a windows machine. Internet, email, pictures, video, music, word processing, and everything else, get a mac. They are a little bit more expensive, but totaly worth it. Apple doesn't compete in the low cost, crappy computer market.

      The only thing they are good for are graphics. That's it. Pretty much everything made by Apple is gay. Ipods are garbage compared to other mp3 players out there and the only reason Ipods are so successful is because dumb people think Ipods are the only type of mp3 player there is.

      I'm computing student and ive used windows, linux, unix and OSx and thats how i rate them, macs are a lot of fancy widgets and no substance, take servers for example, the only OS's used for web, game, or any other server to boot are windows and linux, go try and find a Counter strike server writen for a mac, they suck and the support shown by anyone other than mac shows it.
