    Su-47 Berkut has 360 degree sensor and weapon coverage (rearward facing radar and backward firing missiles), something that the Raptor doesnt have. This implies that the Berkut is always a hunter no matter where the Raptor is while the Raptor is vulnerable if the Su-47 manages to position itself on the Raptor's six.

      And while the F-22 may be a huge maintenance pig and not worth the exorbitant costs that have been accrued through it's development, it is, at least, an operational fighter aircraft.

      The Berkhut is only a technology demonstrator; the latest and gratest of Russia. But it is not an operational, deployed fighter aircraft.

    The Su-47 is not a combat aircraft, it is a experimental flight demostrater. Also the F-22 S**ks balls compared to a Su-34 Terminator. And I also work on F-22s, trust me the aircraft S**ks .

    That's SO a load of crap, just so you all know, this plane is a demonstrator ONLY, nothing more. It does NOT carry any weapons, it CANNOT go mach 2.5(they got it to go just over mach 1) due to the high risk of wing inversion at high speeds. Ever heard of the American X-29, it first flew in 1984 and it looked exactly like the SU-47 does with the exception of size and the single engine. The Raptor is a proven fighter and it's proving it's superiority over ANYTHING in the skies every day, and it'll still be doing so long after the Russians have fielded their PAK-FA...

      and had no stealth characteristicts, unlike Berkut who has.
      yeah - it is a same plane, russians just changed it a little.

      Listen, I know that the Germans invented the forward-swept wing design(but then again, what didn't they innovate during WWII), and the S-37 has major differences but they are very similar...on another note, the S-37 does NOT have any stealth characteristics, none at all, the only reason people claim it does is because they say it uses "plasma stealth", which apparently can be "fitted" to any aircraft...so by your definition of "stealth characteristics" ANY aircraft is "stealthy"...and yes, I do know more than you think
