  • Not Fist of Fury, is Game of Death...

    I think this clip is from Game of Death, the (quite frankly) disgusting rehash of Lee's last film - he stopped half way through to make Enter the Dragon and died before he could finish it. The producers, wanting to bank of their star one last time, especially as a good proportion of the world were desperate to see him again, completed the film using Yeun Biao for the fights (as Lee) and some Chinese business man who had a passing resemblance to the star!

    The film is a car wreck, unimaginably bad, with many of Lee's friends who'd been scheduled to act in the movie(like Bod Wall in the scene above) either pulling out or staying in with tremendous reservations... They were right. The producers, god help them, simply pasted together random clips of Lee from the cuttings of other films with their rehashed acting scenes and Biao in a few new fights scenes. They even used real world clips from Lee's funeral! It was a travesty.

    However, it wasn't all bad... Sammo Hung's fight choreography, which he had to do secretly as the American director (Robert Clouse) had no interest in it, produced some great fights where, unlike Lee's earlier work, the hero is not indesctructible and barely touched. Instead he gets almost as good as he gives and, although part of a terrible film, this fight is a brilliant piece of martial arts movie making.

      SOME OF THE SCENES WERE FILMED WITH THE ACTOR INPERSONNATING BRUCE, WITH A PIECE OF CARBOARD WITH BRUCE LEE IMAGE, ON HIS FACE!!!!!! WHAT A TRAGEDY?!!!!!!

  • Those fighting screams not his.

    If you were to watch Chinese versions of all Bruce Lee movies, you would notice that all those stupid 'cat' screamings were not his. They were dubbed. Don't know why the stupid film makers added them in. The original manly roars made by Bruce Lee were much much better! I even remember watching some of his movies in England (in English of course) where they made him sounded like John Wayne!!! What a shame!!! If you are true Bruce Lee fans, do yourself a favour, go get yourself the Chinese editions of his movies (with English subtitles of course), you will definitely enjoy them more.

    hey dude i dont know how good you think you know the movies of the legend , but this is first of all not fist of fury!!!this is the movie 'game of death' that is a look alike and not bruce lee, go and play more on your pc and leave the real thing to a real martial artist tzz

  • The Dragon!

    The man, the legend, the myth! People can debate all they want about whether or not Bruce would be competitive in the octagon today and it's an interesting topic of conversation but completely unfair because he's no longer with us and even if he was he would be past his prime. There are those who say that he would kick butt and others who say otherwise and they both have a good arguement. The hypothetical question i ask is "what if Bruce received all the training, nutrition, supplements that our fighters have today mixed with his drive, ambition, natural talent and fighting stragedy then put him in the octagon with someone of his similar physical stature and weight, then how would they fair against this new Dragon? I believe the majority of people out there would agree with me that Bruce would be a winner today just as he was in his days! Regardless of what people think about him though, we should all give respect to a man who lived his life as a model for the rest of us, by his conviction and following his dreams no matter what. A true warrior and free thinker!
