  • When using a Relay...

    I watched your video. What I'm not sure of is are you using the relay correctly. I noticed you recommended to use a heavy amp wire and switch under the dash. Just wanted to point out that you don't need to do that. As you already are running your heavy wire under the hood from your battery to the relay then to your cells. You would then only need a small signal wire (+) and the relay grounded with only an amp of current to kick the relay to switch the heavy wires on to make the connection. This is how the relay should be connected.
    On the relay there is #
    30 to the Cells (+)
    87 From the Power Source (The Battery)
    86 From the switch under dash it doesn't need to be a high amp type. Connect the other side to (+) Key switched power
    85 Goes to ground
