Teflon thats a load of rubbish, the Y2K can reach 250 MPH.

And owning a 1300cc Busa myself i know that from the looks of things the R1 was going no faster than 120 MPH so the videos pretty pointless...

The Busa is really fast
But I saw a Yamaha R6 beat the crap out of a Hayabusa in the 1/4 mile in Iceland once!The R6 was actually modified to hell but the busa was original.It was really cool seeing a 600cc bike kick the busaÃ‚Â´s 1300ccÃ‚Â´s ass!

Look at the throttle
The rider cuts off the gas before the overtake.
In 2-3 secs you can loose 20-40 km-h.
Of course the Busa can pass the R1 at top speed, but not as fast as that.
And yes, I owe a R1 '04.

- How can you say
  350 km-h while the top speed on the tachometer is 340?
  I've seen al the test-ride on the Busa, the fastest saw the Busa at 320 km-h.
  And of course the top speed was proven by all sorts of machinery, GPS's and so on.
  R1 '04 top speed was measured in about 300 km-h.
  Well, there's a turbocharged Busa that can reach almost 370 kmh, but you see, over 320 km is not ...safe..

  regularly and the R1 is not doing anything more than 100miles per hour at best which is considered normal cruising speed with a bike like this.
