    Why use 9/11 in a comedy sketch?
    Some subjects should be out of bounds.
    We have a comedian in the U.K. who chose to tell a joke about a well known football stadium desaster, he was almost lynched by the audience.
    Have some decency for Gods sake !!

      He made fun of a man for crying in one of those infamous Iraqi videos where terrorists were holding him captive before beheading them. I'm surprised he wasn't lynched as well.

      Exactly what *envelope* are people like Connelly and Silverman pushing? Once upon a time comedians like Bruce, Pryor, and Bruce were pushing envelopes for important reasons-- to force everyone to question reality, dubious social taboos, and the political climate. But what exactly do the current batch of comedians hope to *do* with this type of envelope pushing? Have people get past that annoying human trait to feel sad or outraged over tragedy and laugh our asses off instead?

      No wonder the modern world has become so cold-hearted. People now laugh about serious things, because it's considered *hip* to not take things seriously anymore.

    u gotta be able to laugh and this rise above it, its just a JOKE no matter how tragic the events are. (it doesn't mean they dont CARE).

    there was a joke about the 'united' flights that i heard from someone at work shortly after the attacks "united we stand, united we fall".

    not the best joke i know, but not too many people were tellin' jokes about this after it happened so i give her props for that. (and not just thinking what others wanted her to).

    Her jokes are mostly based on other people's tragedies (9/11, AIDS, slavery, hunger in Africa) . Not funny at all and very unprofessional. That's not comedy, that's just being mean.
