It has been suggested that she was run over on purpose by a triad gang because she failed to pay her debt. Shortly after this accident she died, before the ambulance arrived. Presently, there are two men in custody who are charged with causing her death.

I work for a local press agency and we have excellent links with the local police (which let me tell you, take quite a bit of time and 'effort' to establish). We couldn't report on this accident in the radio or press because of the sensitive nature of the circumstances: basically we would have risked retribution from the gang members ourselves.

I lived in Japan for a long time and am familiar with the way the Yakuza (Japanese mafia), and the police operate there. Unusual for Triads, which are Chinese, to carry out such a low level assassination in Japan though. That would bring unwanted attention to them would only be warranted if it was a 'high-value' target, not an old lady with a shopping trolley!

I used the word 'triad' wrongly but deliberately in order to be a little bit vague and woolly - remember I'm not far removed from this through my profession. And also remember - maybe just a little old woman with a shopping trolley (or an umbrella I think it was) yet an extremely large unpaid debt that had been pending for several years.

1. malaysian cars are black plate with white alpha numeric.
2. malaysian taxis are white plate with black alpha numeric and red paint job. and those two cars are not taxi.
3. malaysia does not has those kind of blue mini truck.

All Malaysian cars bear black plate with white number (a must by law) unless you are a diplomat (red plate with white word). Don't just take my word for it.

you must understand that policemen are very corrupted, the lady that walked on by is afraid that the police will blame her for that if she had died. there is a camera. but the lady that walked by wouldnt know that there is a camera. dont expect every culture to be the same as an American culture please.

but I'm afraid she died. She was hit by another vehicle before the ambulance arrived, and the post mortem showed she had suffered a massive cerebral haemorrhage.

On the bright side she wouldn't have suffered too much - a bit, but not excessively so.
