Call me an idiot..
So, I know I'm ignorant, but what's the difference between these self-propelled howitzers and tanks? Is it just the range of fire (it seems the howitzer can fire at very steep angles, whereas I don't think a tank can) and the armament?

I'm guessing that maybe the howitzer is designed for long-range bombardment and the tank is more for closer situations... am I wrong?
