it's not because the bear is innocent. sure, he is, but the reason it's different from the firemen is that the firemen MADE A DECISION to put themselves in harm's way. Of course, they are commendable for this, but it is not the same as when something like an animal, or like a child is hurt. And of course, these are both worlds different than the idiotic stunt men who do this for fun. I didn't really like this compilation for that reason.

I remember seeing the clip involving the bear a few years back, I think it was on Animal Planet. As I recall, the bear did not die. It was sedated and taken to an animal hospital to be treated for some burns to the leg. After recovery I think it was released.
