  That's what happened, and the point of the video. It makes a first pass, bounces down in the hope of dislodging the jammed undercarriage, and when it doesn't descend, there is no option other than to land the aircraft on only the nose gear and starboard side gear.
  
  Consequently the aircraft hull was written off at a cost of several hundred million dollars, but everyone escaped unharmed which is the key thing.
