Set Blogging Goals for Success

Blogging and success. An often used phrase in today's world, but in reality, I don't think people really understand how hard it is to make a successful living online. From finding an under discussed topic to write about all the way to promoting your website, it is all a challenge one most overcome to be successful. While some overcome great patience and grueling effort only to make a few dollars a month, many do not. However, for the ones that are patient and focused your reward is great.
"Work now, get paid later."
If you're a blogger then you are really hearing the above quote for most advertising programs do take a while to payout. However, the work now, get paid later quote does have a different meaning. In a blogging sense, it means to work hard every single day. It means to never give up. It means that if you stick with blogging for 3 years you'll be able to quit your job. Okay. Maybe you won't be able to quit your job, but you will be blessed with success in all ways. From online friends, to the discussions that they will bring, all the way to the money you will make. Only this will come in time. Patience my friends, is a virtue.
Set standards and goals for your blog
To be a successful blogger you need to understand that setting goals and making plans is very important. If you choose not to set goals or make plans, your blog will likely dwindle off like millions of others do everyday.

* Decide on a goal.
* Make a plan to not only accomplish your goal, but surpass it.
* Execute your plan

If you want 1000 views a day by the beginning of next week then by golly do it. If you want to be making 1000$ a month by the end of the year then do it!
Setting goals will make you successful.
Setting goals, making plans to surpass those goals, and executing your plan until you achieve those goals will bring you blogging success. Remember that patience is a virtue. If you hold true to the goals you set you will be successful.
