This video shows a slow motion serve of Ivan Ljubicic at the Monte-Carlo Masters Series Tournament 2008. The video has a timer for how long Ljubicic takes from the start of his serve motion to the racket drop and then a timer for the forward acceleration. The racket acceleration towards contact point takes only 0.11 seconds. The serve motion is so fast that only a super slow motion video can help a student of tennis learn how the pros bring the edge of the racket towards the ball and then pronate to make contact.
