Hi caitlinette - I'm not sure about Connie - but I do know that Lee was probably ill and so was likely saving his voice a bit. It was filmed on a Sunday late last year and Lee had to miss the following Monday's performance of Joseph (and was ill the rest of the week) because he had bronchitis. So I think he did wonderfully considering.

They both sound good here, but like they're not giving all they could. Their voices don't sound quite up to par with Broadway/West End, even though I know that's where they're performing. Please don't hate me...

This really is incredible. I love both of their voices. Haha..look at Connie's face right at the end, around 4:10, she looks like shes a naughty school girl who has just been caught kissing behind the bikesheds! Love them!
