Some highlights from Mike Tyson's career. (The dude that bit off the other dude's ear.)
In his prime, nobody came close including ali, ali may had have a better career but if you put prime vs. prime of both their careers ali wouldn't last 3 rounds with Tyson. Another thing is that today's athletes are bigger, stronger, and faster compared to ali's days. ali would probably lose to holeyfield and Lennox in their prime as well.
By sunae 1148621464Would have... Should have... Basicly Tyson got his ass kicked by Holyfield and many others... People who prob. wouldn't be able to win from Ali... Would have... Should have... Tyson was a great fighter and I enjoyed his fight's. But please... Don't start comparing. At the end Tyson is a weak excuse for a man... Whatever he did in the ring.
By MarcBGood 1154354834all these people that immediately start screaming "Ali was the greatest" just haven't taken the time to really compare the fighters. Tyson would have been to powerful for Ali to stand up against in his prime. Would have been a good fight but Ali couldn't have pulled the rope-a-dope on Tyson like he did Foreman. He would have gotten beat up over time. Tyson's body shots were probably the greates the game has ever seen. Get off the Ali train, yes he was good. The greatest? Nope.
By Eric4Real 1151671033u r rite tyson was the best in his prime time if he didnt lose his fitness he wont lose to anyone but dont compare to ali cause that was different time different training different supplements ali was legend than 2nd is tyson after him tyson was the best
By ironmask23 1209762070Ali is undeniably the greatest boxer their ever was, hes was very strategic and tecnicle. Tyson has a more brutaly braweld stlye however, he lacks the mentality that Ali used in his pre fights, using his intuition to break down his opponents befor theyd enterd the ring. Georg forman for example, when he knocked him out when all odds were against him. Hes much too clever to loose to a ear biteing bum like tyson!!!
By tulk 1169187603Ali would still find a way to defeat tyson. Perhaps his long reach and floating ring movement would prove too much for the alligator arms and flat feet of the power puncher. Tyson also often appears a better fighter because he fought when there were few other great heavyweights around, Ali had to fight Liston, Patterson, Smokin' Joe Frazier and Big George Foreman...
By vick07fan 1163763405ali was a much better fightere than mike tyson. tyson isnt a great fighter in terms of technique hes just strong and fast and angry he not the brightest crayon in the box though.
By qquuaacckk 1150939259what are you talking about you better be kidding. Muhammad Ali is the greatest boxer of all times. Lewis, holifield, and other ould be knocked down easily by Muhammad Ali. today's athletes are'nt stronger that the ones a couple of decades ago, this is ridiculous. because even tyson is considered to be slightly after Ali, which isn't a big deal.
Tyson for sure was great in his time, I love him so much and I was so pissed of by his last matches, I think he should have done better. I have always been watching tyson and Ali matches. I have all of them.
I just love Muhammad Ali and Mike tyson (malek Abdulaziz)
Those are my favorites.
Mike tyson was very good early in his career, had enormous power and speed, just not many good opponents to go up against. To say that Ali wouldn't last 3 rounds against Tyson is to say you know nothing about boxing. Look at videos of george foreman, joe frazier, sonny liston and tell me they didn't have raw power or speed.
By tradr 1150012989mike tyson himself said my model and hero is muhammad ali. he says ali had a great influence in the beginning of his career when he was training. ali inspired tyson alot.
By mark mark 1154970933Tyson=bad. Iron Mike is a product of all that's unsavoury about our culture- namely, those who recieve the downside of our wealth, living in inner city the slums. Sure, he had some good qualities early in his career and he's definitely a fascinating character- but the man's no hero, he's a bully, both inside the ring and out of it. However, if you are talking about raw physical presence, or boxing prowess -then yes, he is admirable in that sense.
By vick07fan 1163764239ruined his life by taking drugs, and taking part of WWE crap.
SaD
George Chuvalo (A Canuck) would have kicked both of their asses! He was the toughest fighter Ali had ever met!
By Flawless Cowboy 1156008159you know nothing ,,,chuvalo would be destroyed by tyson..too small, not much skill...tyson would probablt beat ali in tysons prime .even experts said it...tyson was extremely physically fit....he never had cuts or bruises due to his head movement and his speed plus power .
ALMOST???? THE GREATEST HEVY OF MY TIME FOR SHO KEEP WATCHING h.B.o
By STUCKLUCKY 1148872719that white guy, didn't really look like a boxer. he was thin and tall, breaks his bones. more like a basketball player like Dirk Nowitzki or Larry Bird.
By EhJow 1148706401Even Larry and Dirk had and has more muscle than that "tune up" you thought you saw.
By Wudluv2 1148881160yeeee hot!..btw check out LiveDona.com for really hot girls
By abezocolima 1263186745Tyson, because it's kinda hard to box with parkinsons
By tribalweapon 1232719292inspired a generation of boxers myself included to fight as in boxers like him. i'm currently 12-0 with 6kos so its an effective style.
By co147 1170309375record, well done. The Tyson style is effective as it was developed by Cus D`Amato whose training took young crude fighters such as Floyd Patterson, Jose Torres and Mike to legendary world champs. Cus called it elusive aggresion due to the emphasis on head and body movement with the compact style and hands held close to the chin. Tyson was not a "brawler", he was trained to "box" taller men and did so with ruthless precision. Good luck to you in future fights my friend.
By 5446ty 1172209078Where is the Round? It should show the round on which those boxers were knocked out. Because most of them were in round 1 alone.
By demoyeah 1169075042Why does Metacafe " fliter" the bad words we type, yet the rap music in many of these videos have foul language in virtually every other word they say....but that's ok to do?...WTF is up???
By Veee8 1168444893mike in his prime could knock out any of the greats in their prime, and nothing was more exciting then a tyson fight, watching old videos gives me goose bumps, everybody judges him for what he did outta the ring, and at the end of his career when he basicly was fighting for a paycheck, tyson the great heavyweight of all time.
By glfrmn59 1168406720He waz the greatest his style impetuous and his defence impregnible that person that got him done for R**e charges ruined his whole boxing carrear.. :(
Shouldn't have held her down and fu#ked her then. He ruined his own career. Look how much of an idiot that c#nt is now, swearing and attacking people, complaining that he hasn't "fornicated" enough. Tyson is Tyson's worst enemy. No one can help that snowballing loser, its not scientifically, medically or psychologically possible. Just ask Mike, so full of resentment at the world, acting like existence only exists just to fu#k him over, sick of moaners like him, he is a has been and needs to accept that
By uncle bay 1172221175you guys know nothin about boxing. ali was indeed the greatest.. back in his days. but u can't compare those days fighters with today's fighters.
boxing has evolved a lot, and today's fighters are much better trained and prepared
tyson would knock ali's ass out, no doubt
is when the guys he is fightin against take a second and realize they're K.O
By Unt0uch4B!3. 1156034582Yea, dude he's one of the best ever. But he got in the WWE S**t and drugs and ruined it really.
By Bioling water 1155260225where the one he bite the ears off >.< i watch this to look at that!! and he amazing.. beat da S**t out of guy taller then him
By .^ 1154477583would have outsmarted Tyson. Mike was awesome though! That damn R**e conviction doomed his career. Mike is not a bright human, Muhammad on the other hand........ Both fighters were prohibited from fighting for different reasons for several years. Ali came back stronger, Tyson was crushed.
By Cutter 1153530165have you ever played magic?? that's what I call an "8/8-trample beast" :-p
By Gandalf_cdm 1151516761Mike Tyson not only a great fighter but a hell of a man for overcoming the bullsh** of R**e charges. The woman that brought those agianst him needs her as* beat. You cant R**e the willing. So what the hell shes a slut and wanted MONEY thats what those charges were about.
By UFClotsalove4chuck 1149731931But could kick ass. He was real good when he first started and then got screwed so many times by his so called friends it just took him down. I only met Mike a few times and he was pretty cool.
By Frankm 1148687773You are as dumb as Mike..LOL
By Frankm 1153371692i lost interest in iron mike after he lost to holyfield. that's when he started to fight miserably. the way holyfield fought that day was genius but shameful. there was no class in his strategy then.
By jackass28 1148651713..only shows his good matches .. he was bound to lose some anyway ... mike tyson greatest for a long time :)
By Cacius Clay 1148651316poor guy,,.. poor guys... they still are not right..Brain lessions.
By drfox 1148647606is that the ear he puts in his mouth at the end of the video?
By azelAZL 1148638409yeah man.. hey man you are very luckey!!! bcoz Ali is reteierd...
By mr.cool84 1148598546..with no ethics, class or sportsmanship. Corrupted by greedy promoters and the boxing commission.
By MajBach 1148597489He is one bad dude, I would not like to get in his way. To bad all the R**e stuff and whatever happened, another story of success turned to failure...
By fqqlish 1148595949sure he was. I like him, I do strongly agree that during his era he was the greatest boxer ever. His model was Muhammad Ali.
By mark mark 1150835401He doesn't look like Ali. He looks like a man with a psychosis. Charging in, taking straight punches in order to reach the opponent's face. He looks dangerous to the other fighters, and not in a sporty way. I can't believe no one stopped him from being let into the ring before the ear thing happened. One crazy legacy this man has. Fame nonetheless I suppose.
By blankface 1154931547I like tyson, but he inspired ali alot. tyson even said that in his confrence as he was retiring.
By mark mark 1154971046Just another sorry ass loser and stupid on top of all.
Another great f@#$%ing hero and role model for all you stupid asses out there.
I JUST LOVE SEEING N****rS BEATING UP OTHER N****rS SOOOO COOL WE KNOW A N****r IN GETTING SLAYED ONE WAY OR ANOTHER
By awesome-o 1150035374He was the best in the 80s. Destructive power and blinding handspeed there will never be a second tyson. I thank him for his great contribution to the sport.
By bjk1903 1149445052It is a shame that he could not have left a legacy like Marciano, Louis or Ali ... instead ... an ex-con with a foul mouth!
