Yes there are a number of accidents that can't be avoided even if you drive safe. However, at any intersection you should always reduce your speed. See a car ahead planning to pull into the road? Slow down just in case they are idiots and don't see you. A motorcycle is small and people who don't pay attention will not see you. Between the eating while driving, smoking and driving, talking on a cell phone and drive and other distractions, many idiots won't see a motorcycle. Speed past them on a bike and you are just as much at fault for not reducing your speed to avoid a potentially dangerous situation.

you think he is going to stop at every intersection to make sure the other party w/the stop sign is going to stop? he might have seen it but w/o enough time to make a better reaction. then what? so he stops for the sign runner. now he's allowed to go beat his ass? all the car had to do was stop and look 1st like he's supposed to. too difficult for morons to stop and use their eyes. it must be easier taking a life or two?

you can't stop everytime you see someone in a car. Me and a lady in a pickup truck were the only ones on the road. I topped a hill and she was about 400 yards from me, facing me with her left signal on. She was stopped. As I approached her, I was wondering why she didn't go. I did slow down from 55 to around 40 mph. As I got right up to her and about to go by her, she stomped on the gas and I hit her pickup at the front left tire. I can't stop everytime I see another vehicle. It isn't practical or safe. There was no avoiding the wreck. It was clearly her fault, but I was the one who had to pay with my pain and suffering.

how can he stop if he drove like 110kmh which permissible to some road.. ive experienced twice like him...no matter how much u try to brake, still the bike wont stop, kaboomm.... plus some car drivers dont notice bikes. i have cars and bike, whenever i drive, i always give attention to riders to give an ample space for them to overtake or pass. bcs, when im on my bike, i always hoping the driver notice me and give me an enough space for me.

the bike hit the side of the car meaning the car is in right place.. if the car hits the bike in side that's the car fault... study more stupid

Stupid car driver. Guy on the bike had the right of way. Car driver should have waited till the Biker had passed to pull out. I hope the car driver never forgets what he did to the Biker.

You were probably the one who pulled out in front off the motorcycle weren't you. It isn't the speed, it's the inconsiderate aholes that only look out for number one and no body else. I have a 2002 Honda Gold Wing that I bought at an auction. A man talking on a cell phone rear ended him at a stop light at 30 MPH, then instend of hitting the break he hit the gas an ran over the couple that was on the bike killing them both. NOT PAYING ATTENTION!
