Tony T here with our “Rockstar” quick hitter for Tuesday’s NBA Finals action. It’s game 6 between the LA Lakers and Boston Celtics with the Celtics up 3-2 in the series and 4-point home favorites. The Lakers home games in this series have been less than impressive. LA blew large leads with defensive lapses in games 4 and 5 and was fortunate to capture game 5. The Lakers have not shown a killer instinct. Boston has done an outstanding job defending Kobe Bryant in this series allowing the Lakers All Star only 42% shooting from the field. Kobe is not getting to the line in this series averaging 6 ½ trips in 4 of the 5 games of this series. The Celtics big men are doing a great job of keeping Pau Gasol and Lamar Odom from setting up offensively close to the basket. They are just physically stronger. Look for the Celtics to be aggressive around the basket in front of the home folks in a title clinching game. Behind Kevin Garnett, the Celtics big men around the paint and Paul Pierce the Celtics are the play in game 5. Play Boston –4.
