  • Your style

This is an excellent style. I like the aggressive attacks, and would like to see more of this techinque in action. Even though I have been formally trained in Chinese Hungar, I believe we can all appreciate good styles.

  • Can they do that?

Can they do the beauty action in UFC?
    I dont think so....

By aduhadu 1152576476 Reply Spam [-2] Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Everybody to the UFC!

I pitty anyone who thinks the UFC is the best.

Firs of all, I ask you: Can u du beauty motion at all? I dont think so. These techniques are way to complex for you and take decades to master.

Second: do YOU fight in the UFC? I dont think so.

Third: The UFC isnt the perfect way to measure up to a real fight. Most UFC fighters would get owned in the streets of Guatemala, when they are hit by 3 or four Gangsters /muggers while they strugle with the first one on the ground. You have no idea of how real fights happen on the streets, on an uncotrolled environment. These guys do, they grew up, and live on a real conflict country.

Plus, they fight in the AAMAC circuit, (Asociacion de Artes Marciales de Alto Contacto, High Contact Martial Arts Assoc) which has from Kickboxing Fights, through Muay Thai and up to Vale Tudo Matches, where they often win. So yes, they work this beauty motion on the ring, and out on the streets.

      can you?

Dices que apareces en el video. Cuál de esos instructores eres tú.

By DiegokU 1154628569 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Not in the UFC

But yes in the AAMAC circuit for Central America. (Equivalent to Vale tudo)

  • Mario V

Well Master Mario, here i am commenting once more:P Now..that was a better video..more control on the opponent..and not so much co-operative attacking..one thing i will admit..BEAUTIFUL form..very beautiful and complete. I believe we have gotten off on the wrong foot in earlier discussions ..perhaps we can discuss the pros and cons of our systems in a less criticizing manner from now on. Good Luck in the future Master Mario.

    • Dear SilLim Taoist.

My name is David Villanueva, youngest son of Master Mario Villanueva. I appear on this video for a couple of short scenes, with my brother Mario jr. (He wears a full red uniform and I wear a black one)
I was recently introduced to this site by some of our students.

Red Warrior, has posted several videos from our systems, and posted several comments on behalf of my Father. However we ignore who he is and even if he is our student or not. He is very wel informed, but also very arrogant. This does not reflect my fathers character. I am sorry for any posts of his; we do not endorse them.

My father speaks very little english and rarelly uses the computer, so let me asure you he has not posted anything here. However I appreciate you taking time to see the videos, and your nice comments.

If anyone wishes to contact me directly please write me to gamalelama @gmail .com Thank you.

    • QUESTION

DO YOU INCORPORATE ANIMAL STYLES IN YOUR ART AND WHICH ONES?

By siyc 1155842315 Reply Spam Moderate Up Moderate Down
    • Not directly...

One of the Styles incorporated into Temv-K'a (Which is the style displayed on this video) is Limalama. Limalama has some techniques that are rooted in Five Animal King Fu, even though they are developed differently. So indirectly, Temv-K'a has a little five animal Kung Fu roots, but to be honest with you, I dont think it could be officially considered as part of its technical basis. Temv-K'a is based on Master Villanueva´s Knowledge of the Traditional Guatemalan arts of Fighting, plus his Mastery of Limalama, Aikido, Karate, Judo and also includes concepts that are similar to those practiced in Kickboxing, Modern Martial Arts, Muay Thai, Capoeira, Combative Arts, and many others.
