    of turbos spooling, that car will carry a higher hp on the street. bad thing about dyno's are that the huge intercooler is useless unless there is air going through its fins

    ferrari... lambo.... skyline ....v8 ...v12 .....3litre ....who cares.... any high performance engine is worth listening to on full taps.....

      He has large aftermarket twin turbos... large turbos such as those on this car are renowned for having a longer spool up time.... they kick in at higher in the rev range than smaller turbos... and produce huge horsepower to the detriment of low rev responsiveness.

    that is NOT a supra, look at the headlights, look at the 4WD, and it can't have been made in 1994, the R33 only came out in 1995. this thing probably wouldnt melt, that radiator is huge and loads of jap cars can do 1000 BHP, skylines, supras, evos

    1st of all I'm willing to bet its a skyline rather than supra, as supras are not all-wheel drive while skylines are. In addition you'll notice the purple valve covers which is a distinguishable trait to nissan sr20 motors.
    2nd- that sound at the end was not of anything breaking but rather the driver letting off the gas and the blow-off valve releasing the pressure that the turbo has built up

      no Bugati Veryon that one. although that would be a bit like comparing apples with pairs or class with trailor chic. 1100hp is a major feat but the ultimate triumph is the engineering in the Bugati, VW spent millions and years developing that car, it's not your average mechanic that produces that kind of result.

      Sorry dude but turbos in the transmission so it doesnt loose mph is very way off the truth. turbos can only be linked to the air intake system, The turbos function is to ram cold air in to the inlet manifold which supplies the engine its fuel and obvioulsy air. So i dunno where you got the idea about the turbo in the transmission. Oh another thing said in this comment page, the engine did not break, the dump, offsprey, let off valve oppened and released the unused air in the cars inlet manifold, lol it didnt break its a skyline for god sake they are near enough indistructable. If you wanna see some really cool S**t , check out turbo-kenetics web site, its a japanese based company and thats all they do is ram F**king huge turbos in to Japanese cars. later dude.

    firstly it IS a r33 skyline GT-R, has a rb26dett engine, 2.6l twin turbo, probably with masses of internal work and a huge single turbo setup etc. u CANNOT just nitrous an engine to 1000bhp. We ALL know (some just wont admit it) that it would beat a ferrari, yes you have to have regular tune ups, u sayin ferrys dont!!!!!

    • NO, it will not beat a Ferrari,

      higher horsepower means lower torque, in other words, faster u go, the slower u accelerate. a better transmission is need. see how it does not have a smooth transaction between 5th end 6th gear (it start on 3rd i think), no, it will not beat a ferrari until a better trans. is installed. what they did is probably decreased the compression ratios in the combustion chamber and have a very big and heavy 2nd turbo for high compression. that is why it went crazy only at the end (high rpm). high horsepower doesn't mean good acceleration. horsepower is just math directly proportional to torque. that is why rallly racers don't have very much horsepower (doesn't go very fast) but still accelerate very fast.
      People will only call it a R33 if everything is original, that is why street racer go by chassis model. So a R33 will never beat any ferrari at this point.
