    What we did was get a block of dry-ice (you can get it at many grocery stores or gas stations) and chopped pieces up so they can fit into the bottle opening. You put the ice in first (about ¼ of dry ice) then pour the water until the bottle is ¾ full (Don’t be scarred when you see the smoke coming out because it is just the chemical reaction. Not adding enough water can make for a WEAK blast.) Make sure you put the cap on really tight to let the pressure really build up. And get rid of it fast. – Mike (lionpowerzap)

      no chemical reaction, only the expansion of the carbon dioxide turning from a solid to a gas. Actually the more room for gases to expand will generate the biggest noise, if it were almost full of water, there would only be a very small pop.

    get a bullet remove the head of it u find some thing inside of that thing put it in abottle and hande the bottle while u can put some thing above and that thing inside it in the bottle like this ((---)) and put segurate or some thing got fire and close it good and drop it away but move it first (dont be fraid but watch out move it so fast and drop it away be careful no 1 around it and then it blow up loud voice i do it always (( oh u may cant find abullet but if u know some 1 in army tell him to give u 1) lol it works but watch out no 1 around the bottle when u drop it bye im gonna try your way at morning

      it works both ways
      the way you suggest would mean that he would have to carry dry ice outside instead of water. Also dry ice is harder to squeeze through the neck
      so he would have to rush~ but water is easy to pour through
