this hippo is not seriously injured, a lion is not capable, if people would post the entire video it would help, , this hippo was more annoyed than anything.like a lion is going to be able to open it's mouth to get around the throat of a animal that has a neck 4-65 feet in circumfeerance. How dumb can people get.

I would just like to point out that "helpless" hippo's are actually considered to be the most dangerous animal in all of Africa aking more lives than any other animal. also it is nature for an animal to attack another animal for food the lion is a carnivore the hippo is meat? what is the problem with that.

- What's he going to do?
  Hippos usually hit the water and submerge when attacked.
  You can tell the drought is coming, the animals are getting thin and desperate.
  This hippo had no where to go, and you can see he is getting tired.
  If he didn't lose the battle here, he will lose in the next day or two.
