  From Chinese's point of view, Tibet is liberated (read:free) by the People's Liberation Army.
  
  Before Tibet's liberation, the land is owned by individual land owners. These land owners own serfs (a type of slavery). What Chinese has done is freed the slaves from their owners.
  
  Tibet wants to be free. This will only make them go back to their old ways. Slavery will continue. The ones that keep wanting independence are only the capitalist slave drivers.
  
  Second, Tibet doesn't have any foreign relationship. They don't have any ally, and gaining independence only create one more enemy. This won't do them any good.

  just because it may have had "slavery" does not mean it has to go back to that. They can move on put the past behind them? and its "freed the slaves from there owners"? just to be slaves of the chinese?
