Isn't the Miss Universe contest an American show?..supposed to be the 'pinnacle of beauty' n blah...blah... As for the clip, it isn't a porn flick n Indian movies (Hindi commercial cinema) do not show nudity n stuff. Though, India is the land of the KamaSutra, Indians shy away from sex n sexuality or at least it's display. But the scenario is changing. If they are not copies, then they are the same old love story repeated over and over again with a boy and girl from two very different families or areas who are in love but something is in the way of them being together. Just look at the name Bollywood, if that doesn't scream copy then what does?

      The Indian Film industry doesn't need a mass following elsewhere... it is the largest film industry in the world, churns out more movies than Hollywood can dream of and makes more money too.

      Indian movies cater to Indian sensibilities (emotions, melodrama, relationships n song n dance n vibrant hues) and show issues closer to their hearts... there is no denying that some movies are copies of other world cinema (and they are all duds / major flops). Not a single movie copied from a Hollywood movie has been a hit n this is because the cultures are different and ppl would rather watch the original! ;) But most Hollywood flicks are action oriented / sci-fi / fantasy n SFX etc which are prefered by kids in India. Serious Hollywood movies are rare, but they are good. You might be a little surprised but the Indian movie industry does not want / expect you to watch it's movies. Can't say the same for Hollywood though.
