BATTLE OF TOILET PAPER WEDDING DRESSES IN TIMES SQUARE: Ripley’s Believe it or Not!, Charmin and Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com Bring Fourth Annual Dress Competition To NYC

Seven wedding dresses, made entirely of Charmin toilet paper, will be showcased at the fourth annual Toilet Paper Wedding Dress contest. The competition will be held Thursday morning at Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Odditorium, Times Square in New York City.

The dresses were chosen from hundreds of contestants across the country, and the top three designers have been flown in to battle for the top prize. Contestants used only toilet paper, glue, and/or tape to create gowns and headpieces with ruffles, faux embroidery, pleats and even lace effects.

Representatives from co-sponsors Ripley’s Believe it or Not!, Charmin, and Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com will judge the entries. The winner will receive a cash prize and Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Will showcase the winning dress in museums across the nation.
